The Clippers are coming into this game with a 14-11 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 2 straight games with both of those losses coming by 10+ points at home, but they were also missing Harden in that last game. Prior to this 2 game stretch, the Clippers won 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games and now they have been sitting on those 2 bad losses over the last week so they are going to be hungry to bounce back with Harden back in the lineup. They have not been bad on the road recently either, winning 2 of their last 4 games on the road with 1 blowout loss to the defending champion Celtics, but their last loss on the road came in a very close game to the Timberwolves by 1 point. Their defense has been very good in these games as well, holding their last 2 as well as 3 of their last 4 opponents on the road to less than 100 points. They are going up against a Nuggets team that is 12-10 this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They are coming off of a huge 141-111 win over the Hawks in their last game, but they have still lost 2 of their last 3 as well as 3 of their last 5 games. Jamal Murray has also been dealing with a hamstring injury and was limited in practice this week so even if he plays here, he will not be 100%. Their last loss also came against the Wizards who only have 3 wins this season and they have been struggling at home as well. They won their last game at home against the Warriors by 4 points, but prior to that they got blown out by the Knicks 145-118 and they have actually lost 2 of their last 3 games at home as well. They have not been dominating opponents there either, playing their last 4 straight as well as 6 of their last 7 games there with either a loss or a win by 4 points or less. The Clippers have also dominated the Nuggets recently as they have won both meetings this season, including 1 in Denver already, and they have won the last 4 straight meetings going back to last season so this is a game they are going to get up for with the Nuggets being banged up and already not playing that well.
