The Jets are coming into this game with a 3-10 record this season and they have not been playing well in their recent games. They have lost their last 4 straight games, but their offense has been playing much better in their last 3 games and they have played in some close losses as well. They scored 27 points in their home loss to the Colts by 1 point, they scored 21 points against the Seahawks in their 5 point home loss, and they are coming off of a game which they scored 26 points on the road in an OT loss to the Dolphins. Aaron Rodgers played well in that loss as they were leading for most of that game, and they could be getting Breece Hall back in the lineup for this game. They are going up against a Jaguars team that is also 3-10 this season, but they are a much worse 3-10 in their current state. They are coming off of a 10-6 win against the Titans on the road, but they have lost 5 of their last 6 games and their starting quarterback for the season as well. Mac Jones showed some fight when he came in the game against the Texans, but the Texans were not prepared for him either as Lawrence started that game. He has been much worse in his 3 starts for the Jaguars this season, losing 52-6 to the Lions and 12-7 to the Vikings. He got his 1st win last week against the Titans, but they were also trailing 6-0 in that game and went scoreless in the first 3 quarters, all 10 of their points coming in the 4th. As poorly as the Titans played last week, Tony Pollard still had 100+ rushing yards against the Jaguars defense and they have struggled to stop the run in their recent games. With Hall back in the lineup the Jets will be able to dominate this game on the ground, and Braelon Allen has also played well with his opportunities. The Jets have not been great on defense in recent games, but this Jaguars offense has been awful with Mac Jones and the Jets will be able to get some key stops here.
