The Bills are coming into this game with a 10-3 record this season and they are coming off of a loss in their last game. They had won 7 straight games prior to that loss, but now they are coming off of a 44-42 loss on the road to the Rams and that was a tough game for them. They were trailing for that whole game and put a lot of energy coming back from behind to try and win. They also had to travel to the West coast for that game and are now back in the East for another road game. They are going up against a Lions team that is 12-1 this season and they have won their last 11 straight games, currently with the best record in the league. They are coming off of a 34-31 win at home against the Packers in their last game and that game was last Thursday so they have had some extra rest. The Lions have a very strong offense, one of the best in the league, and they have 2 very good running backs in Gibbs and Montgomery that will do some damage against this awful Bills run defense. The Bills have struggled to stop the run all season as they have been allowing a lot of rushing yards in a majority of their games. Their 3 losses have also been against teams with strong run games, allowing over 100 rushing yards against the Rams last week and even allowing Derrick Henry to go for 199 rushing yards himself in their loss to the Ravens earlier this season. The Bills will not be able to stop this Lions running back duo and that will open up a lot of things for Goff who has been very accurate with his throws this season. The Bills have also struggled more on the road as they are 4-3 compared to being 6-0 at home. Their 1st loss of the season also came in Baltimore and when they played on the road again in their next game, they did not bounce back with a loss to the Texans. This is a tough spot for the Bills and a bad matchup while the Lions have the run game to exploit this defense and have been rested longer for this game with no travel.
