The Colts are coming into this game with a 6-7 record this season and they have been playing well in their recent games. They have won 2 of their last 3 games, but their wins have not come against quality opponents either. They beat the Jets 28-27 on the road and the Patriots 25-24 on the road, but both of those teams are 3-10 and have had disasters of seasons. Their 1 loss in that span came at home against the Lions and they lost that game 24-6 as they were not able to do much against a much better defense. They are going up against a Broncos team that is 8-5 this season and they have been playing very well in their recent games. They have won their last 3 straight as well as 5 of their last 7 games with their only losses in that span coming against quality opponents, the Ravens and the Chiefs. They are coming off of a 41-32 win against the Browns in their last game and their offense was great, but their defense also scored 2 TDs and is one of the better defenses in the league this season. They were not great in their last game against the Browns, but they have held opponents under 20 points in 3 of their last 4 as well as 5 of their last 7 games so they will be hungry to bounce back here as they are also coming off of their bye. Denver is also a very tough place to play late in the year and the Broncos have won their last 3 straight as well as 4 of their last 5 games at home, winning all 4 of those games by 9+ points. The Broncos also have a very good run defense that has been completely shutting down teams in their last few games and that is a big part of this Colts offense with Richardson so they are not going to be able to do much and the Broncos offense will be able to do the rest. The Broncos will cover the spread in this game.
