The Bears are coming into this game with a 4-9 record this season and they have been playing in some higher scoring games recently. They are coming off of a 38-13 loss to the 49ers which saw 51 total points and they have seen 51+ points total in 2 of their last 3 games. They were awful in their last game against the 49ers, but prior to that they had a 3 game stretch where they played very well against division opponents, losing 20-19 to the Packers, 30-27 in OT to the Vikings, and 23-20 to the Lions. Their offense was awful against the 49ers, but Caleb Williams was able to rack up 300+ passing yards against the Vikings defense earlier this season and this is still a team that is trying to show some fight to be more attractive to a new head coach coming in. Caleb Williams will be trying to finish the season strong with some good performances and their opponent has been giving up more yards through the air in their last 3 games. They are going up against a Vikings team that is 11-2 this season and the Vikings are going to be hungry to win this game after seeing the Lions go down to the Bills on Sunday. The Vikings have a chance to tie the Lions for the lead in the NFC North with a win in this game and they are going to have a lot of confidence as they are coming off of a 42-21 win against the Falcons in their last game. They have also been playing in some higher scoring games recently as they have seen 45+ points total in their last 3 straight games, seeing 50+ points total in 2 of those. Their offense has also been very consistent recently, scoring 23+ points in 4 straight games and scoring 30+ points in 2 of their last 3. Their defense has not been as good recently though, allowing 21+ points in each of their last 3 games as well. The Bears are going to get up for this game and show some fight with their offense, but the Vikings also ripped this Bears defense up on the ground in their last meeting and they were not able to stop Hockenson and Addison either, struggling to stop TE's all season. The Vikings are going to move the ball against this Bears defense that has not been great in recent weeks and they are not going to take their foot off the gas either with a chance to get level with the Lions at the top of the division. Between these two sides, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
