Georgia Tech is coming into this game with a 7-5 record this season and they were 5-3 in the conference. They have won 2 of their last 3 games with a quality win against Miami in that span, and they are coming off of a very close loss to Georgia in their last game, losing by 2 points in OT. They are going up against a Vanderbilt team that is 6-6 this season and they were 3-5 in the conference. They were an exciting team this season as they pulled off a few upsets like their win against Alabama, but they ended the season with 3 straight losses and were not playing well in those games. They failed to score 20 points in 2 of those 3 games and they allowed 24+ points in all 3 of those, losing 2 of the 3 games by 10+ points. Diego Pavia brought new life to Vanderbilt when he came over from New Mexico State for this season, but the magic has worn off in these last 3 games and their offense has not been that great this season. They do not have a very strong run game as they are averaging 139.3 rushing yards per game as well as 3.8 yards per carry, and their passing offense is averaging under 200 passing yards per game as well. Their defense is also allowing 4.2 yards per carry on the ground and that will be a problem against a Georgia Tech offense that is averaging 186.8 rushing yards per game and 4.9 yards per carry. They also have a dual threat quarterback in Haynes King and he has been the better passer this season as well. Georgia Tech will cover the spread in this game.
