Total: 51.50 | -114.00 Over
Result: Win
Texas Tech is coming into this game with an 8-4 record this season and they were 6-3 in the conference. They have been playing in a lot of high scoring games recently as they have seen 60+ points in their last 3 straight as well as 5 of their last 6 games. Their offense has been on fire to end the season as they have scored 52+ points in each of their last 2 games, but their defense has also been awful as they have allowed 41+ points in 2 of their last 3 games as well. They are going up against an Arkansas team that is 6-6 this season and they were 3-5 in the conference. They have not seen 50+ points total in any of their last 3 games, but prior to this stretch they did see 80+ points total in 2 straight games. Arkansas has had a very good run game this season that is averaging 182 rushing yards per game as well as 4.9 yards per carry so they are going to have success against this Texas Tech defense that has been allowing 146.6 rushing yards per game as well as 4.4 yards per carry. That will also open things up in the passing game as Arkansas has been very good throwing the ball this season, and this is a Texas Tech defense that has been allowing over 300 passing yards per game as well. Arkansas is always going to have a way to move the ball against this awful defense, but Texas Tech also has a very good run game with Tahj Brooks and that will help their freshman quarterback in the passing game as they have been very potent through the air all season. Texas Tech has not been able to stop many teams on defense this season so Arkansas is going to have no trouble moving the ball here, but Texas Tech also has a potent offense that Arkansas will not be able to stop. Between these two sides, there will be enough points in this game to push it over the total.
