Boston College is coming into this game with a 7-5 record this season and they were 4-4 in the conference. They have been playing very well in their recent games as they have won their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games. Their only loss in that span was a 38-28 loss to SMU who did go to the ACC Championship and the CFP, but they also have a nice win against Syracuse in that span as well as winning their last 2 games by 10+ points. Their offense has also been very good recently as they have scored 27+ points in their last 5 straight games, scoring 34+ points in 3 of their last 4 games as well. They are going up against a Nebraska team that is 6-6 this season and they were 3-6 in the conference. They had a very promising start to the season, but they were awful down the final stretch. They are coming off of a 13-10 loss to Iowa to end the season and they have lost 5 of their last 6 games as well. Their offense has scored more than 20 points in just 1 of those 6 games, and their defense has not been great either as they have allowed 25+ points in 3 of their last 4 games. They have a good run defense and their defense has not been giving up many yards in total this season, but Boston College has a very good run game that they are going to commit to and even their passing game has been much better and more accurate since Grayson James took over as the starting quarterback. Nebraska has a good run defense, but they have struggled to run the ball themselves this season and Boston College also has a very good run defense that is going to cause problems for them here.
