The Hawks are coming into this game with a 35-38 record this season and they have not been playing great in their recent games. They were starting to heat up as they have surged up to 8th place in the Eastern Conference, but now they have lost some of their steam in their last 2 games. They have lost their last 2 straight games with both of those losses coming by 8+ points, and they are coming off of a loss against the Heat in their last game who have been struggling a lot recently. They have not been good on the road recently either, losing their last 2 straight as well as 3 of their last 4 games with all 3 losses coming by 8+ points. Their only win in that span was against an awful Hornets team as well, and they have been much worse on the road all season at 16-21. They are going up against a Bucks team that is 40-33 this season and they have not been great in their recent games either. They have lost their last 3 straight games and did play some tougher teams in their last 2, losing to the Knicks and the Nuggets, but they will be hungry to snap this losing streak and bounce back at home against a weaker opponent. They have been much better at home this season at 24-13 there and they will be hungry to bounce back after losing their last 2 straight games at home. The Bucks have also been sliding down the standings in the Eastern Conference recently, now in 6th place, and even though they are safe from losing that spot as the next team behind them is the Magic at 36-39, the Bucks are still fighting for a better seed and will be pushing to get back on track so they can climb over the Pistons and the Pacers. This is a good spot for the Bucks to bounce back in against a struggling Hawks team that has not been good on the road. The Bucks will cover the spread in this game.
