MACK'S CFB***ACC GAME OF THE MONTH!
(NCAAF) Clemson vs. Duke,
Point Spread: -12.00 | -110.00 Clemson (Away)
Result: Loss
Clemson has something to prove this season as they haven't been in the national championship conversation for the last few seasons. Clemson brings back most everyone including RB Will Shipley and backup QB Cade Klubnik turned starter. They have improved on offense this season and of course their front 7 is solid. Clemson's defense has improved even more and they should be a top 10 defense in the nation again. QB Klubnik played well in the games he played in last year towards the end of the season and put up solid numbers. He should be even better this season as well as the team as they can possibly go undefeated this season. On the flip side, Duke did not play Clemson and Florida State last season, two of the best teams in their conference, despite their 9-4 record, and played really nobody of importance. Duke has improved on defense this season under coach Elko, and bring almost everyone back, including QB Riley Leonard, but they will struggle against Clemson who are just loaded with talent. They may put up a fight in the first half, but expect Clemson to pull away in the second half and dominate as they cover the spread. Clemson have won their last nine of ten Labor Day Opening night games by double digits, with the exception being the game against Georgia, which was a close tight 10-3 score in 2021, where Georgia went on to win the National Title that year. Clemson also went 8-0 in their ACC conference last season, beating teams like Florida State, Wake Forest and Texas A&M from the SEC.

Duke are 1-4 SU in their last 5 games when playing at home against Clemson. Duke are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games. Clemson are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games against Duke. Clemson are 5-0 SU in their last 5 games against Duke. Clemson are 10-2 ATS in their last 12 games against an opponent in the Atlantic Coast conference.

Best bet: lay the points with Clemson.
