Michigan State are 4-12 SU all time versus North Carolina and 0-5 SU all time in the NCAA Tournament. Under coach Izzo, MSU are 3-9 SU versus UNC and 0-4 SU versus UNC in the National Tournament. Izzo is a great coach with other teams but not with UNC. This team has been able to be a thorn in his side. This season, Michigan State should not have made the tournament but they did and they played an incredible game to get to the second round where Izzo is 24-7 SU in the second round of the NCAA Tournment. However, not against UNC. This game will be like a home game for UNC being played in Charlotte which will have the home crowd feel to it and it will be a hostile lit environment for the Spartans. UNC have the better team and the better talent and they will neutralize Walker at every turn to win this game. North Carolina lost the national tournament to Kansas two seasons ago by 3 points and that left a bad mark for them. They didn't even make the tournament last season so that angered them more. This season they have gone down on record as stating they will not be satisfied until they win the tournament and they will take no team or game for granted because they want it badly. This team is focused, angry and hungry, a good deadly trio of a combination to go out there and win and cover this game. Unfortunately for Izzo and his team, they won't be making it out of the round of 32. Lay the points with the better team as they win by 6 or 7 points.
