The Guardians have been really good this season and look for Carrasco to have a decent game in this one on the mound for Cleveland. They face a struggling Astros offense and with Brown on the mound, this is a game where Cleveland can get to Brown. Brown has been unsteady in his last few starts giving up a lot, but out of the two pitchers, Carrasco should be able to bounce back faster in this spot. The Guardians have the better pitching and lineup right now and have the better offense that is hitting better on a consistent basis. Despite Houston playing well in Mexico, that was against one of the worst teams and now they face one of the better teams. Houston may have the edge at home, but it’s not much of an edge when the team is 4-9 straight up at home for the season and Now they have to play a tough Guardians team and in this spot, will be outmatched. Cleveland is 11-5 straight up on the road this season and 9-4 straight up as an underdog this season. Cleveland is 6-1 straight up after a loss. The Guardians should be able to steal this game and as there is value in taking the underdog and the plus money.
