He is too experienced as a pitcher and should bounce back in this spot against a Reds team whose bats have cooled right down. Montgomery is 2-1 against the Reds overall. Ashcraft on the mound today will struggle to give a solid performance and doesn’t have the Reds bats behind him supporting him on the mound right now. Cincinnati lost the last two games he started in and lost his last start against the Diamondbacks too. Arizona has the stronger defense, pitcher and better starting lineup at almost even money. The value is in taking Arizona.
