This is a bounce back spot for Fried who lost his last start as the team lost 0-4. He’s at home where they are 21-13 straight up. Atlanta have done well at home against Detroit, winning four of their last five games against them at home. They are up against Olsen who has been terrible for Detroit with his 1-8 record. Olsen has a losing record with Atlanta in the past as well, and his ERA against them is well over 16.22. He has gotten hit hard in his last three starts and is not getting the run support from his team on offense. Fried should have a solid performance in this game and steer the Braves to another comfortable win as their bats are starting to wake up again.
