MACK'S CFL **END ZONE EDGE!
(CFL) Edmonton vs. Toronto,
Point Spread: -4.00 | -110.00 Toronto (Home)
Result: Loss
The Argos are doing fine under QB Dukes who has taken over the role. They put up some healthy offense against the Lions who are supposed to be the favorite in the West as they outplayed them. Toronto should be able to handle the Elks who are on a two game loss, losing both at home to Saskatchewan and the Alouettes. The Elks did play Montreal in a tighter game and they will try to do that with Toronto but the Argos have won their last three games head to head versus the Elk and will make it difficult with their strong defense. Toronto is at home and doesn't have to travel in this spot and they are off a bye week where they are 6-0 against the spread off of a bye in the last few seasons. Their defense is much better than the Elks and QB Duke is completing almost 80% of his passes so this team is putting up the offense. QB Dukes should have an easy time getting through the weak Edmonton defense. Edmonton’s QB McLeod Bethel-Thompson has struggled in the red zone to convert drives into points and he’s going up against a strong defense here in Toronto and the Argos are going to make him pay and get to him in the pocket. Toronto beat this team last season by running Edmonton into the ground with their strong running game, so the only chance the Elks have is to take their RB out of the run game. In last week's game, the Argos ran for 120 yards on the ground and put up 254 yards through the air and three touchdowns for a 35-27 win over the B.C. Lions. Toronto is 5-1 against the spread in its last 6 games at home.

Best bet: lay the points with Toronto.
