Boston’s offense is rolling right now and the Jays seem to be falling in the other direction. Bassitt has played well for Toronto but not on the road. He did lose his last start recently against Boston and he was at home in that game. He’s been hit and miss all season and it’s hard to put any faith in the Blue Jays right now. They even got swept by the Red Sox in that series the other week and they are terrible on the road this season and 7-22 straight up as the underdog. They go up against Houck who did get the win against the Jays in that series and is sporting an ERA of 2.14 this season. The team has won four of his last five starts versus the Jays as well and the Red Sox also have the edge in bullpen ERA over the Jays. There is value in taking the home favorite.
