The Yankees should get one game back in the win column in this subway series. Gil has been excellent for the Yankees and is the better pitcher in this game, despite having one bad outing in his last start. Other than that game, he has given up very little all season to batters and should bounce back in this spot. The Yankees have an excellent road record, offense and bullpen in this matchup and are hitting left handed pitchers decently this season. The Mets will struggle to score against Gil, and Manaea who is struggling with the long ball, has given up far too many walks and runs in the last month. The Yankees will be able to get to Manaea on the mound and win this game easily.
