Gallen has been a solid ace for the Diamondbacks with an ERA of 3.23 and a WHIP of 1.17 at home, where he pitches his best and the team always backs him up. He’s done well against the better teams in the league all season and has some impressive wins where he pitched well against the Yankees, Dodgers, Baltimore, and Cleveland to name a few. They will get to Nola early who is not pitching his best right now and is not consistent in his last several starts, and has lost his last four starts. The Phillies starting lineup is strong, but they may struggle to back Nola up as they haven’t done so in several of Nola’s starts and their bullpen is not good right now with a collective ERA of 4.42. Philadelphia is 5-10 in their last 15 games too. They have already split the series so far, but Arizona should get another win to go ahead.
