Bengals - players and coaches have been vocal this summer about getting off too a faster start as the past few years they have failed too do so. Chase is back at practice today so he should be a go, Cincy at full strength are a team I believe will compete to win the division and the conference.
Patriots on the other hand are the complete opposite and are in a transition period from a HOF coach to a rookie HC and a journeyman QB with a bad roster. Give me Bengals at home under the key # of 3.
Jets - NYJ on paper are on of the most talented rosters in the NFL and in week 1 they are at full health. Defense should be a top 3 unit if not #1.
Offense has firepower it just comes down to Aaron Rodgers health and level of play. I like to back him historically when he has something to prove. The 49ers coming into the season with the Super Bowl hangover effect and have had a summer of distractions with Aiyuk and Trent Williams.
Even though Williams helps them on the OL the rest of the group is below average and can be take advantage of by the jets front 7 who might be the best in football. I’ll take the +10.5 here.
