Chicago vs. San Francisco (Giants ML)
(MLB) Chi Cubs vs. San Francisco,
Money Line: -149.00 San Francisco (Home)
Result: Loss
The Cubs are 2-8 in the last ten meetings between these teams and are 4-12 in the last 16 meetings in San Francisco.

The Giants are 5-1 in their last six vs. a team with a losing record and 20-9 in their last 29 vs. National League Central.

I'm betting on the better team to win straight-up on Saturday. The Cubbies are hitting .171/.262/.258/.520 in June following a sub-par May (.232/.319/.375/.694). Those stats look even worse when compared to their April splits (.278/.348/.456/.804). They'll face a Giants bullpen that's dominated recently, helping propel the team into playoff contention. At home, I feel pretty confident a string of SF relievers can keep the Cubs in check.

The Giants' lineup hits well consistently, no matter the time, place, or opposing pitcher. Hendricks has allowed six hits in all three of his starts since returning from a lengthy injury. The Giants' top-ten-scoring offense will take advantage if he puts that many runners on base.

I'm betting on the home team Saturday in San Francisco.
