Seattle vs. Houston (Under 8.5)
(MLB) Seattle vs. Houston,
Total: 8.50 | -108.00 Under
Result: Win
The Mariners' bats have been hot recently, but I'm predicting they'll cool off on Friday evening. Astros starter France has held 12 of 17 opponents to two or fewer runs and has surrendered four or fewer in all but one game (May 17 vs. the Cubs). He and the Houston bullpen (sixth in ERA) should keep the M's bats in check tomorrow.

Houston should have a better performance at the plate vs. Miller than it did back in May, but it would take a real meltdown for the total to reach double figures. Given how important each game is for Wild Card-contending Seattle, I'm sure Miller will be on a short leash if he isn't getting the job done. The Mariners' bullpen has the second-lowest ERA (3.42) in MLB and a 1.27 WHIP.

Given how hot these offenses have been, the over is tempting, but I'm more comfortable betting on the under in Friday's game!
