Marlins starter Braxton Garrett has held six consecutive opponents to three or fewer runs. He beat Washington on June 17 (one run on four hits with eight strikeouts) and held them to three runs on August 25. He'll face the Nats in consecutive starts, something I feel works in his favor. Garrett sports a 2.86 ERA and a 1.06 WHIP in 12 road starts this year.

Nationals starter Joan Adon has a 9.90 ERA in three home outings. He shut out Miami on August 25, but it will be very tough to duplicate that performance less than a week later.

I'll bet on the Marlins, who are 35-23 straight-up as favorites, to come out on top!
