I'm betting on the Royals to cover the run line on Thursday. KC starter Cole Ragans has pitched well this month, holding three of his four opponents to four combined runs. He bounced back against the same team he didn't pitch well against, Houston, holding them to three hits in the following outing. I predict he will continue to roll against Detroit.

Detroit starter Sawyer Gipson-Long is making his fourth career MLB start on Thursday, and while he's been solid so far, I doubt he'll shine against the hot-hitting Royals (.262 BA/.335 OBP/.439 SLG/.774 OPS this month). KC has won ten of its last twelve (before Wednesday's game) and appears to be determined to ride its winning streak to the finish line. 

At +160 odds, I feel there is significant value in a bet on KC to win by two-plus runs!
