Dayton vs. Davidson (Wildcats +4.5)
(NCAAB) Dayton vs. Davidson,
Point Spread: 4.50 | -110.00 Davidson (Home)
Result: Loss
The Wildcats will give the Flyers all they've got on Wednesday, covering the 4.5-point spread. Even without leading scorer David Skogman, Davidson is dangerous. It's coming off a gutsy win against Ohio in Cleveland without him and should follow up that performance with another strong showing at home.

Dayton is a serious threat from deep, but as the saying goes, teams live and die by the three. On the road against a conference opponent shortly after New Year's, I'm not confident the Flyers will shoot the ball efficiently from long range, which will be problematic. Nearly 47 percent of their total shot attempts come from beyond the arc. The Wildcats will use those long misses to their advantage, slowing down the pace (302nd in tempo) to limit the Flyers' offensive possessions. Davidson rarely fouls or turns over the ball, too, which will put too much pressure on Dayton to make the most of its half-court opportunities.
