Dayton vs. Davidson (Under 136.5)
(NCAAB) Dayton vs. Davidson,
Total: 136.50 | -105.00 Under
Result: Win
With both teams slow-tempo, this game figures to be low-scoring. I expect the Wildcats and Flyers to work the shot clock down to find good looks, which will be hard to come by. In this A-10 opener, they will be locked in defensively, as both teams will be eager to get off on the right foot in conference competition.

Dayton's three-point shooting will be the difference-maker, as I predict an off night from the Flyers. That will allow the Wildcats to keep the score close, putting additional pressure on the visitors to find their shooting strokes from beyond the arc. With Davidson's leading scorer Skogman potentially sidelined, it will bring its A-game defensively. Considering neither team turns the ball over much or has a significant rebounding advantage, possessions will be limited. These teams average the sixth-fewest and seventh-fewest personal fouls per game, as well, so I don't expect either squad to get to the free-throw line much.
