This is the Rebels' time to shine and I believe they will.
Ole Miss has a vaunted defense that will generate pressure (first nationally in sacks) on QB Carson Beck, who has panicked with defenders in his face, throwing multiple INTs in four of the last five games. The Rebels' secondary also leads the nation in passes broken up (48). UGA has also struggled to run the football (97th in rushing yards) and could be without RB Trevor Etienne (rib injury last week), which is a cause for concern against a Mississippi defense ranked first in tackles for loss (94) and second in rushing yards allowed (82.2 per game).
Ole Miss has a prolific QB in Jaxson Dart, who dominated on throws of 25-plus yards last week vs. Arkansas, completing 5-of-6 attempts with 282 passing yards, three TDs and a 158.3 passer rating. He passed for 515 total passing yards and six TDs versus the Razorbacks, boosting his season total to 3,210 yards, 21 TDs and three INTs (sixth-highest QBR). The Bulldogs' defense doesn't bite like previous teams and will be challenged to bottle up the Rebels with the UGA offense likely to fall short.
This is a must-win game and a program-defining game for Ole Miss, who was projected to be a College Football Playoff team this season with the field expanding to 12 teams. That can't happen with another loss. I believe Lane Kiffin's team has what it takes to win this game, but will gladly take the extra 2.5 points as a cushion against a Georgia team that is 1-6 ATS in the last seven games.
