I'm backing the Knickerbockers at -4.5 tonight. New York showed its resolve against Milwaukee in its last game, gutting out a 122-109 road win. PG Jalen Brunson scored 43 points and SG Dante DiVincenzo poured in 26 points (8-for-11 from 3PT range). While Brunson and DiVincenzo's contributions can't be overlooked, OG Anunoby is most impactful. The elite defense he brings to the floor is invaluable — NY is outscoring its opponents by +23.2 points per 100 possessions with him in the lineup — and it will come in handy tonight against Chicago.

Between Anunoby and G Deuce McBride, the Knicks will lock down DeMar DeRozan and Coby White, the Bulls' only consistent scoring options. With New York trying to move up to the three-seed and Chicago locked into a play-in spot, the Knicks have more motivation to play well. I'll bet that results in a New York cover at -4.5!
