Kansas City and SP Seth Lugo are being disrespected by this line... The Royals have momentum after sweeping the White Sox and Lugo has allowed one run in 12.2 combined innings versus Minnesota and Chicago. KC's bats have exploded for double-digit runs twice already and the Royals are averaging 4.7 runs per game at home through seven games.

The Astros, on the other hand, were swept by the Yankees in their first series and are just 4-3 SU since then (heading into Tuesday's game). Wednesday's SP Hunter Brown hasn't been great, either. He only lasted four innings in his 2024 debut vs. New York and gave up five runs on eight hits and four walks in three innings versus Texas. He has a 2.57 WHIP and has walked six batters already. On top of that, Brown didn't look great last season. He posted a 4.78 ERA in May and, after posting a 3.65 ERA in June, he fell off a cliff (5.92 ERA in July, 6.23 ERA in August, and 9.14 ERA in September).

In other words, I feel confident the wrong team is favored in Wednesday's game. Bet on the Royals ML at plus odds — it's my best bet of the day!
