LA SP Yoshinobu Yamamoto has offered up three homers in his last two starts and has struggled this season due to an extremely high Hard-hit Rate and Line-drive Rate. The Nats have posted a 97 wRC+ in the last two weeks and won two of three games against the Dodgers in LA earlier this month. In other words, they aren't going to feel like underdogs today.

I feel there is value on the Nationals to win today with SP Mackenzie Gore (2-1 with a 3.60 ERA and 27 Ks in 20.0 IP) on the bump. The young left-hander boasts a 31.8% strikeout rate and has allowed just one HR in his first four starts. The Dodgers were struggling just a few days ago, but have "emptied the tanks" since Monday, scoring 25 runs in their last three games. That won't hold up, and in a short turnaround from last night's game, I'm betting they look lethargic today.

At nearly +170 odds, I see value in the Nationals winning at home in the series finale.
