They still have some issues on defense but the ECU offense has taken a step up offensively when Katin Houser replaced Jake Garcia. In those last two games, he’s thrown for 551 yards and eight scores against three interceptions. The Pirates are -6 in turnover margin but that’s largely a product of Garcia’s 12 interceptions.
FAU has been bleeding points in conference play and has given up 41 ppg in those three contests. The Owls are dreadful against the run and they don’t get any pressure on the quarterback. I’m looking for big numbers from UCU here. The Pirates defense should be able to stop the run and force a below-average quarterback, Cam Fancher to beat them. That won’t go well.
