I’ll roll with this Tigers team that is 4-0 on the season and has already knocked off a quality opponent on the road in Kansas State. Pitt is also perfect on the season but they have played all of their games at home and have been double-digit favorites in four of them. Pitt will have the advantage on the glass against most teams they face this year but the Tigers average just 1.5 rebounds less per game and should be able to blunt their advantage on the boards. But the real advantage for LSU comes in the form of their 3-point defense. They lead the nation in that category allowing their opponents to make just 19.6% of their shots from downtown. That’s a major part of this Pitt offense and that advantage should be the great equalizer in this one.
