We’re going to ride this Spartan defense that has been outstanding in Big Ten play, allowing opponents to shoot just 39.7% from the field. They’ve played Illinois twice and Ohio State and in none of those games have they allowed their opponent to shoot better than 43% from the field. On the other side, Purdue is coming off a horrible home loss to Wisconsin where they allowed the Badgers to shoot 61.5% from the field and 40% from downtown. When they do miss, I have a lot more confidence in Mich St to pull down the rebound as it has gone from a strength with Zach Edey last season to a serious weakness.
