No team in the Big 12 is playing better basketball than the Cougars right now. They’ve won and covered six straight and have shot 50% or better in their last five. Included in that stretch were three very good defenses. They put up 80 vs K-State, 91 against Kansas (The most the Jayhawks have surrendered since Nov 2020 vs Gonzaga), and 96 at Arizona. They have the shooters to keep them close and their defense has made major strides as the season went on.
