No question the Buffs got a rude welcome back to the Big 12 when they lost their first 14 conference games. And while they ended up with just three wins, they performed well lately, even in their losses, picking up ATS wins in 7 of their L9, including beating the number twice against KU, Houston, Iowa State, and Texas Tech. They also played TCU last Saturday and ran them out of the gym, outrebounding them 45-26 and holding TCU to just 31.4% from the field. Colorado’s leading scorer, Julian Hammond is nursing a bad back but, after missing the game against Tech, he sucked it up and played against the Frogs and excelled. I don’t expect to see the senior, who’s a Denver native, to miss what could be his last game as a collegiate.
