This is another case of a good team in Baylor facing off against a very good Texas Tech squad. The Bears kept it close against Houston to close out the season in a game where the Cougars looked disinterested and then beat up on a K State team that has been a punching bag for the last month. These teams met earlier in the year and Tech won by 14. Normally, I wouldn’t put a ton of stock in just one game, but here’s the deal: Tech shot just 39.7% from the field and Baylor made eight more free throws…and they still won by 14. If a team can pull off a double-digit win without binging their “A” game, I like their chances to cover a much smaller number tonight.
