If you follow college basketball, you likely know that the Mean Green has a very good defense, ranking third in the nation and giving up just 60.1 ppg. But, sometimes a little knowledge is a dangerous thing, and N Texas totals are consistently too low, especially at home, where we’ve seen the Over cash in 10 of 14 games. The Paladins are a team that doesn’t go particularly fast but 51.7% of their shots come from downtown. They’re 10th in the country in made threes, knocking down 11 per game. They have seen the Over go 12-6 in their road contests. The N Tex offense isn’t terrible and they average 71.8 ppg in their home games which, ironically, is the same number of points Furman gives up on the road.
