Between a very good defense and the third-slowest pace in college basketball, the Mean Green don’t give up many points. They’ve played several teams with better offenses than the Cowboys and the most they’ve given up was 68 to Memphis. They also gave up 51 at Minnesota, 55 to Oregon State, and 61 to the 20th-best offense in Utah State. It doesn’t help the Cowboys that their best 3-point shooter, Marchelus Avery, has been sidelined for the last two weeks and his status is up in the air for this one.
