Last season the Tigers destroyed State 62-48 as they have now won eight of the last nine meetings. State did manage to win the last time they played in Raleigh in 2011 as nine of the last 16 games have been decided by eight points or fewer. Clemson's Tajh Boyd accounted for eight touchdowns in last years meeting and the 'Pack will have to contain him here. The Tigers have not fared well on ESPN Thursday night games going 2-9 but seven of those losses were against ranked teams. At home and with a national audience N.C. State will meet the challenge.
