Red Sox over Mariners- This contest raises some eyebrows (at least mine) as the Red Sox who are just 15-23 on the road are favored at Seattle while the Mariners are on a four game winning streak. So, I first think, maybe it is because of the starting pitching until I see for the Red Sox it's Jake Peavy who is 1-5 with an ERA of 4.52 ERA and the Sox are 5-10 as a team in his 15 starts. Maybe the answer is in the Mariners starting pitcher Erasmo Ramirez (1-4, 4.62 ERA) who just doesn't get it done. Regardless of the reason the Vegas odds-makers like the Red Sox here and I believe in them. Take BOSTON!
