#261/262 ASA PLAY 8* ON Under 49 Points – NY Jets @ Kansas City, Sunday at 1:00 PM ET - The Chiefs are massive 20-point favorites in this game. What does that matter when we’re taking the total? It matters because we envision KC getting a big lead and running the ball which milks the clock. KC doesn’t need to score 35+ points to win this game. They are facing a Jets offense that averages 12.7 PPG on the season – dead last in the NFL! The Jets have been held to 17 points or less in all but one game this year. On top of that they will be without their top 2 WR’s in this game, Perriman and Crowder, who are both injured. They aren’t going to waltz into Arrowhead Stadium and light it up offensively vs a Chief defense that has allowed 20 points or less in every game but one this season. They held one of the best offenses in the NFL, Baltimore, to just 20 points. They held solid offenses Buffalo, LA Chargers, and Houston to 17, 20, and 20 respectively. As bad as the Jets offense is, their defense actually isn’t terrible. They rank 22nd in total defense and YPP defense which is much better than their offense which ranks last in both. They seem to be playing better the last few weeks as well holding both Miami and Buffalo below their season scoring averages the last 2 weeks. Again, KC doesn’t need to win this game by 30 points. They want to get a lead, run the clock, and finish this game up with a win, no injuries and move on. The Jets have played in only ONE game this season that reached 50 points and we just don’t see it happening here. Potential windy conditions as well on Sunday (10 to 20 MPH) and we’re grabbing the UNDER.
