ASA free play: Cleveland Indians -1.5 runs (+105) over Kansas City Royals, 1:10 PM ET

It is no secret that the Royals have the better numbers at the plate early this season and that the Indians are hitting just .205 on the season.  It is important to remember that it is very early in the season and each team has played just 4 games.  One should not overreact too early and one thing we do know here is that this pitching match-up strongly favors the Indians.  Shane Bieber is 4-0 in his career against Kansas City and has allowed only 2 earned runs in 19 innings spanning his last 3 starts against KC.  Bieber struck out 31 Royals in those 19 innings!  The Indians bats should absolutely get going against Jakob Junis here.  The Royals right-hander is 18-28 overall the last 3 seasons.  Also, Junis is 3-7 with a 6.08 ERA in his career outings against the Indians.  Junis has allowed 11 earned runs in 12 and 1 / 3 innings spanning his last 3 starts against the Indians.  He has given up at least a homer in all 3 of those starts including 3 round-trippers in his most recent visit to Cleveland.  There is plenty of reasoning as to why a 1-3 Indians team is nearly a 2 to 1 money line fave over a 3-1 Royals team today.  That is precisely why we are grabbing the run line and avoiding laying any juice as our computer math model is forecasting a blowout here.  Lay the 1.5 runs with Cleveland.
