ASA Free Play Denver Broncos -4.5 over Seattle Seahawks - Seattle struggled offensively in week #1 of the preseason with less than 200-total yards of offense on just 46 plays. The Hawks averaged 4.2-yards per play and put up 7-points with 9-first downs. The Seattle’s QB rotation does not strike fear in opponents asf Mannion, Smith and McGough were 17 of 31 for 126 passing yards. Russell Wilson may play a series in this game but his status is still in question. The Seahawks didn’t get help from their running game as they managed only 68-rushing yards last week, 25 came from QB McGough. Defensively things weren’t any better for the Seahawks. The Seattle defense was gouged for 385-yards and 26-first downs last week by Las Vegas. They are weak at the corners which has been exploited in practice and week 1. The Broncos ran 60-plays last week in their 33-6 win over the Vikings last week and put up some gaudy offensive numbers with 387-total yards and 6.45 yards per play. The Broncos have a solid quarterback battle with Teddy Bridgewater, Drew Lock and even Brett Rypien which is a solid advantage in the preseason. Eleven Broncos defensive starters sat out week #1 versus Minnesota and they still managed to hold the Vikings to 235-total yards of offense. Denver Starters are slated to play 12-15 snaps this week so expect an even better effort this week. Typically, we don’t lay this large of a number in the preseason but we’ll make an exception here.
