#901 ASA PLAY ON Philadelphia Phillies -155 over St Louis Cardinals, Saturday at 2:15 PM ET - As we mentioned in yesterday's write-up on the 2-0 win with STL over PHI, that was a very tough scheduling spot for Philadelphia. The Phillies had the only evening game Thursday at Atlanta and that game got delayed by rain plus then went 11 innings. So it was a very late night for Philly and, making matters worse, they lost the game in the bottom of the 11th after taking the lead in the top of that frame. They had to then fly to St Louis for this series opener yesterday while the Cardinals were comfortably at home resting after their series in Pittsburgh had wrapped up already Wednesday in an early afternoon game against the Pirates. Now, things are back to normal Saturday and this Phillies team is the better team and will be rested and ready to respond off of B2B losses. Cristopher Sanchez is off to a solid start for the Phillies and piling up strikeouts. Miles Mikolas just got rocked at Boston in a disastrous outing and he truly has not been the same pitcher in recent seasons. Mikolas also went 2-6 with a 6.16 ERA in home games last season so it is not like his bad start at Boston was all about Fenway Park as he truly has been struggling here in St Louis too. Great game for the Phillies big hitters to respond and they will lead the way here. We are going with the money line on the road favorite in this one and we expect a dominating road win Saturday!
