First off overtime is very live in this pick'em type of matchup. And if not overtime, then a lot of late scoring if the score is close as projected. Both teams shoot very well from the free throw line.

Notre Dame ranks No. 1 in the nation in offensive efficiency averaging 123.9 points per 100 possessions. Duke has improved its soft defense by going to more zone. That's not going to bother Notre Dame, nor catch the Irish by surprise like it initially did when the Blue Devils first unveiled it.

Notre Dame ranks among the top 15 in both two-point shooting and 3-point shooting. The Irish have an outstanding point guard, Jerian Grant, who doesn't commit turnovers.

Duke is going to get its share of points, too. Its superior athletes can hurt smallish Notre Dame inside especially Jahil Okafor.
