Result: Win
The Brewers should have fired Ron Roenicke after Milwaukee choked away a postseason spot by finishing 9-22 last season.

This year the Brewers have the worst mark in the majors at 2-12. That's a combined record of 11-34 in their last 45 games.

Roenicke isn't a good fit, Milwaukee's pitching is bad and its offense is down with Carlos Gomez, Jonathan Lucroy and Scotter Gennett all out.

The Reds have taken advantage to outscore the Brewers, 22-11, in winning the first two games of this series. Cincinnati has a huge offensive advantage with a healthy lineup and a pitching matchup of Johnny Cueto versus Jimmy Nelson plus a monster edge at closer with Aroldis Chapman against over-the-hill Francisco Rodriguez.

The Brewers are giving up a league-high 6.2 runs per game. The Reds have the power to take advantage with Todd Frazier, Joey Votto, Devin Mesoraco, Jay Bruce and Marlon Byrd playing in a hitter's park. Nelson has exciting potential, but he's a youngster prone to inconsistency.

Cueto, on the other hand, is one of the best pitchers in baseball. He has a 2.14 ERA this season and is 7-3 lifetime versus the Brewers with a 3.06 ERA.
