The All-Star break came at a good time for Calgary. The Flames are 2-6-1 in their last nine games, while Carolina is playing well.

However, the timing is ripe for the Flames here. They have short revenge for a 5-2 road loss to the Hurricanes just 10 days ago.

Look for the Flames to play with a lot of confidence and energy. Carolina is 0-5-1 in its last six visits to Calgary. The Hurricanes are 11-23 versus foes with a winning home mark. I don't see yet where the Hurricanes have turned enough of a corner to win in Calgary especially given the circumstances and layoff.
