Washington is just 2-10 its last 12 road playoff games and has a recent history of blowing leads in series. The Capitals blew a 2-0 series advantage to the Rangers two seasons ago and last year gave up a 3-1 series lead to the Rangers during the Eastern Conference semifinals.
