I'm expecting these above average defenses to settle down after the Islanders' 5-3 Game 1 victory. I'm also expecting Ben Bishop to come back strong after the Tampa Bay star goalie had an off game in the opener.

The Lightning had opening game jitters. They were sloppy with their puck handling and the Islanders made them pay. Bishop didn't help with a sub-par performance. However, Bishop had allowed two goals or fewer in his eight previous playoff games prior to Game 1. The last two times he gave up more than three goals in a Stanley Cup game he came back in the next game to not allow any goals.

The Islanders, meanwhile, continue to get stellar goaltending from sizzling Thomas Greiss.

Note, too, this is a day game with an early start time. That's a plus for the under.
