Stephen Nover's MLB Friday Top Ticket
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Seattle,
Money Line: 111.00 Seattle (Home)
Result: Loss
I like the Mariners as a home 'dog here in a matchup of righty Andrew Moore versus over-the-hill lefty CC Sabathia.

Moore has walked just two batters in 24 innings. He's prone to the long ball, but will be helped pitching in spacious Safeco Field. The Yankees have lost 17 of the past 23 times when facing a righty starter.

The Mariners have a winning mark versus southpaws and the offense to do damage against Sabathia. I don't like the Yankees when they play on the West Coast where they are 2-6 this season.

The Yankees also have a major concern at closer where Aroldis Chapman hasn't looked right since returning from the DL following rotator cuff inflammation. Chapman has a 5.93 ERA in his last 13 1/2 innings giving up 18 hits and eight walks during this span. His fastball has lost steam and is secondary pitches haven't been consistent.
