Result: Win
Of course I'll need 1 1/2 runs, but I'm willing to toss out a peanut on the visiting A's against the Mariners.

Yes, I realize the A's are the worst team in baseball at 10-39. But please hear me out.

The Mariners are pitching their weakest starter, lefty Marco Gonzales. He just got blasted by the Red Sox this past Wednesday giving up eight runs in 1 2/3 innings. Gonzales has a 6.10 ERA and 1.59 WHIP.

Oakland hits better against southpaws, being average to above average in several major categories. The A's also have a slightly better road record than they do at home.

The A's are going with Luis Medina, who is 0-2 with a 6.88 ERA. Now I'm not proclaiming Median to be good, but his ERA is skewed by his first start in which he surrendered seven runs in five innings to the Angels. Medina has made two starts since then and been respectable, allowing three earned runs while going six innings.

Oakland is dropping way down in pitching class going from Luis Castillo to Gonzales. The A's also have back from injury Seth Brown, who led the team in homers and RBI's last season.

(Editor's note: Stephen Nover's has his NBA Conference Finals Game of the Year today along with an MLB premium play and WNBA play as he looks to go 3-0 in the WNBA this season and 25-12 on his last 37 WNBA plays.)
